About Us
Funny Mummies is an organisation whose mission is to create community and improve mothers' mental health through laughter. We run a vibrant and hilarious Facebook community, and host live events including Funny Mummies comedy shows as well as other fun and outside-the-box happenings designed to bring more fun and chuckles into women's lives.
Funny Mummies is the brainchild of award-winning Aussie comedian Jenny Wynter. Her comedy web series "How Me Parent Good: And You Can Too" won Best Conceptual Web Series at the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival and Best Web Series at the Worldwide Women Comedy Festival.
As part of our mission to support women, 10% of all profits from our live events are donated in aid of Friends With Dignity, a volunteer based not for profit registered charity that provides practical programs to assist survivors of domestic violence in collaboration with refuge and crisis centres.
